HOW DO I CLEAN AND TAKE CARE OF MY JEWELRY?

Cleaning your jewelry does not have to complicated. Here are a few ways to do so:

  • Use cleaning products that are especially made for jewelry (e.g. cleaning wipes).
  • To quickly remove gunk off your jewelry, use a QTip or soft cloth to reach tight spaces.
  • Soak your jewelry in a combination of lukewarm water and a few drops of a mild dish detergent.
  • Let your jewelry soak in white vinegar for a couple of minutes to reveal a shinier finish. Rinse and pat dry.

To prevent product build-up on your jewelry:

  • Put lotions and perfumes on first and let them dry, then put on your jewelry.
  • Remove your jewelry before showering, washing your hair, etc., to prevent dulling or degrading the finish.
  • Make sure your jewelry is properly stored in a cool, dry place or jewelry box.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY JEWELRY GETS WET?

If possible, avoid getting your jewelry wet (e.g. swimming, exercising, etc). Overtime, the excess moisture can deteriorate the finish and composition of the jewelry. If your jewelry does happen to get wet, dry it as quickly as possible with a soft cloth.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY JEWELRY RUSTS OR BECOMES TARNISHED?

Metals are not 100% immune from any type of tarnishing or corrosion. Fortunately, there are many preventative measures you can take to ensure that your jewelry maintains its shine for as long as possible (see question #2).

WHAT TYPE OF CUSTOM PRODUCTS DO YOU MAKE?

Glisten Carefully offers a variety of personalized jewelry options you may be interested in customizing to your liking. These options include necklaces, anklets, rings, bracelets, earrings, and other accessories. To note, the only customizable products offered are those listed on our site. We do not offer the creation of custom-made products on demand. 

CAN I PUT ANY NAME OR WORD ON MY JEWELRY?

We do not accept any requests for explicit language / profanity, or hate speech and slurs on custom jewelry. If an order is placed with a word that involves such language, it will be canceled and refunded. 

IS YOUR JEWELRY LEAD AND NICKEL FREE?

Yes! Our jewelry is lead and nickel free.

DO YOU HAVE A SIZE GUIDE?

Due to the variations in jewelry types and designs offered on our site, we do not have a standard size guide. However, we do list the dimensions of each product in detail and different sizing options if offered. 

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

Currently, Glisten Carefully only ships to the United States not including U.S. territories.

WHEN WILL MY ORDER ARRIVE?

When an order is placed, an order confirmation will be sent to the email address provided. The confirmation email will also include tracking information as well as an estimated arrival date for the order.

Please note, orders with multiple pieces may be shipped separately and arrive at different dates and in different packages. This information will be included in the order confirmation.

HOW DO I CANCEL AN ORDER?

To cancel an order, send us an email at contact@glistencarefully.com with your order number as soon as possible so that we can cancel it. Orders that have already been processed and shipped are not able to be cancelled. 

HOW DO I FIX INCORRECT INFORMATION THAT WAS ENTERED ON MY ORDER?

Send an email to contact@glistencarefully.com with your correct order information as soon as you discover the error so that it can be corrected.

Changes or corrections can not be made to orders that have already been processed and shipped. The order will be sent based on the original address / information that was provided. Please note, Glisten Carefully is not responsible for items lost due to incorrect order or shipping information provided.

MY ITEM ARRIVED DAMAGED / INCORRECT. WHAT DO I DO?

Although preventative measures are taken to ensure each product arrives damage-free, accidents can occur. If an item arrives damaged or you received the wrong item, please attach the following and send it via email to contact@glistencarefully.com:

  • A photo of the damaged or incorrect item received
  • The order number 

When items arrive damaged or incorrect, Glisten Carefully will either replace it free of charge or issue a refund.

WHAT TO DO IF YOUR ORDER NEVER ARRIVED?

Re-check the order confirmation and tracking number sent to your email address to verify the order date and time. If it is the promised delivery date and your order status is listed as "delivered", but you don't have your package, allow additional time for the order to reach you - some mailing providers deliver later in the day.

If the order status indicates "delivered" and ample amount of time has been allowed but the order was not received, please contact the mailing provider (e.g. UPS) with the tracking information so that the delivery information can be verified.

  • Please note, Glisten Carefully is unable to replace or refund items that have been confirmed as delivered (e.g. stolen packages).
  • If the mailing provider checks out the tracking information and is unable to establish the package was delivered, please send us an email at contact@glistencarefully.com with the order number and tracking number. Upon review, Glisten Carefully may replace the items (depending upon availability) or issue a refund.
DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS OR ACCEPT RETURNS?

Refunds may be offered on a case-by-case basis. Please refer to our refunds and returns policy for more detail. Glisten Carefully does not accept returns or exchanges. All sales are final.
